PEAK reached out to Storyfarm early on to do a liquid pour shoot with a robotic arm. While successful, it was really expensive and limited their ability to edit in post. They came back with new designs and asked if we could complete a similar job, but in CG?
We worked on a series of different coolants/other products (16 families total) and had to rebuild parts and texture/light/render from the ground up. We also had to incorporate a liquid pour simulation in all of the versions. All shots of the bottles are 3D renders. Posted is the North American Coolant version but a link is here to showcase the similar versions.
